I've been called a lot of things in my life, but wiggly worm has not ever been one of them. While looking through the TTLB thingy for other similarly labeled sites, I found a truly international hodgepodge of interesting sites. Let's start our global worm tour by visiting Africa;
From the land of lions and elephants, we travel north to the realm of frogs and cheese... Viva la France! (or at least french language bloggers)
To vous or not to vous... An Aussie Lass asks. (link from L'Oiseau.) Speaking of l' francois, K's Cafe is always a pleasant visit.
(Sidenote- We saw The Acting Company's production of The Three Musketeers last night. Didn't see a single reference to any kind of candy bar the whole night. What's up with Dumas' fixation on sex? Were the 16th century french really that bawdy? Never mind, I really don't want to know.
Returning now to America...

- The White African discusses poverty, business plans, and technology in the dark continent. I'm all over his view of the optimal condition for strategic thinking!
- Weichgud provides an "unbridled, unfetterred, and unhinged" discussion of Ethiopian politics. One gets the sense that the Ethipoian Federal Police are not particularly admired. Lovers of freedom should also check out Advocacy Ethipoia

A general comment. Your extensive, falling just short of obssesive, posts on the American Standard toilet is a service to humanity. We can hear two running from our bed and this morning my wife called it the symphony of toilets. Why not just buy a new toilet? I must say I enjoy the way the AS hammers the poo into the nether regions but...But what I really like is the juxtaposition of plumbing issues and Islam. And yes, that is a mild insult, intended for the edification of any Moslems reading, that they may overcome their sensitivity and join that part of the human race that doesn't riot when a reminder of their God is denigrated, say, dipped in urine.
Yeah, the gospel of John, but I must say that many do not read deep enough into chapter three. "Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."
As to Bush's war: democracy, the rule of law, property rights, these make life on Earth sweet as it is capable of being. Liberty is purchased only by blood, a fact modeled by our Savior. The Iraqi people,alone in the arab world except for arabs living in Israel, now have access to liberty thanks to the expenditure of blood, Western and Christian, and their own. What arab leader has ever brought as much to their own people?
No problem on the spelling everyone does it! I don't really care. And I'm glad that I can comment without having to preface it by saying that it's free of charge.
LOL when I found your blog!As a person interested in all about gardening (eg. orchids) and having my own composting heaps for years, I couldn't resist to check out what the view from the other side is like.
