Lazy linkarage

I have several domesticated peeves. Some of them are of the longhaired variety, while a few others are free-range organically raised peeves. I've been known to feed a few feral peeves, but I've got to be careful... once you feed a wild peeve, it's very hard to get rid of.

One of my smaller, more docile peeves has to do with people writing blog posts about their lack of posting. You know, the "I won't be posting for the next 37 hours while I remodel my kitchen" post. This peeve is a close relative to the "Sorry I haven't posted in 438 days" post.

Good grief, enough is enough! This is blogging, for goodness' sake. If you are going to miss a few days of posting, don't sweat it! You owe me no apology, and I refuse to accept it.

Anyhow, I say all that just to bring to your attention (all three of you on bloglines, that is) the fact that, in case you haven't noticed, I haven't posted a post since... Never mind! I don't care how long it's been, and I'm not about to apologize for it! If your tender emotional state is upset by the fact that I am unapologetic about my lack of blogging, then you've got bigger problems than what my blogging can address. (That last statement might be taken rudely. I apologize if your sensibilities were offended by it. I still don't apologize for my lack of posting.)

Anyhow, just so folks won't get all weird on me and think that I've like "dropped out" of the blogging thing, here's an eclectic gaggle of links of no particular relevance. Maybe you'll enjoy them, maybe I'll get some trackback traffic, maybe this post is just a waste of so many photons, but if I don't get something posted soon I'll start to think that this blogging thing isn't such a big deal anyhow.
